Cloud Computing Wizard

The person who fills this role will be a key member of Reflexion’s high-performance team.

Working as part of our infrastructure team, the primary goal for this position is to ensure the continuous, secure and high-performance operation of the company’s global infrastructure. Success requires a hands-on, take charge person who is strong both conceptually and practically, and who is meticulous in nature with exceptional attention to detail. Secondary goals include maintaining the company’s internal technical infrastructure, ensuring a match between product and infrastructure requirements, providing vision for our future direction, and serving as a senior technical resource in resolving problem escalations.

Major responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining the company's data center to achieve uninterrupted operations.
• Troubleshooting and swiftly resolving complex technical issues.
• Ensuring the security of customer email.
• Spearheading architectural plans and changes; identifying, researching, evaluating and recommending network related tools and emerging network technologies to help the company achieve its goals.
• Building, deploying and maintaining new Linux servers and related infrastructure (such as routers, firewalls, load balancers).
• Managing and maintaining the company’s internal infrastructure.
• Working closely with the software development team to ensure flawless deployment of new product releases.

Requires a High-Level of Technical Expertise in:

• Email protocols, email systems (such as qmail and Postfix), DNS, and email security software (including SpamAssassin, Clam AV and RBLs).
• Linux and Java.
• Network management tools and best practices.
• Server configuration (hardware and software).

Specific Qualifications/Technical Skills/Aptitude:

• Several years of hands-on experience in an enterprise level network engineering support and design role.
• Superior troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional business hours when necessary to ensure the continuous operation of our global network.
• Experience with high performance Intel servers, SAN/NAS, routers/switches, load balancers, firewalls, and other security appliances.
• Excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking, LANs/WANs, IP address/sub-netting, DNS, LDAP, VPNs, SSL, and common internet services, protocols, initiatives and applications such as: QoS, BGP,OSPF, 802.1X, DNS, SNMP, RSA, IPSeC, SSL, VPN, PPP, DMZ.
• Excellent understanding of Linux, Java and related technologies.
• Self-motivated with minimum supervision required.
• Eagerness to learn on the job and explore new technologies.
• Aptitude for interaction with customers and the IT solution providers that comprise our distribution channel.
• Willingness and ability to take initiative, to lead, and to think outside the box.
