Third Annual MITX What's Next Forum & Technology Awards Recognize Outstanding Technology Advancements in New England Region
WOBURN, May 31, 2006 — Reflexion, an email security provider, today announced that it has been named as a finalist in the Security category for the third annual MITX Technology Awards. The MITX What's Next Forum & Technology Awards recognize innovative technologies developed in the New England area, as well as the individuals and organizations responsible for driving these advancements. This year's keynote speaker and special honoree is Nicholas Negroponte, co-founder of the MIT Media Lab, esteemed author and founder and chairman of the non-profit association One Laptop per Child.
The ceremony is preceded by the What's Next Forum, a panel discussion moderated by Jason Pontin, editor-in-chief of Technology Review. The topic, What's Next for the Social Web, will be a forward-looking discussion about the next platforms and paradigms to shape the social web.
